Grab a spot, as they are limited, for this Industry Intensive for Pre-Professional Dancers 13+ with Master Teaching Artists David Bagley, Henry Graham and Nile Russell.

 
 

This 4 day training opportunity not only includes technique, performance and improv master classes, you will receive a performance experience reel and professional dancer shot to add to your artist portfolio. Experience a comprehensive schedule that will expand your training to the next level and provide a pipeline and portfolio to exhibit to the entertainment industry.

On day 4 there will be a SHOWCASE PERFORMANCE in the residence Cinematic Arts Theater in the lower level of d2b Studios at 1917 Market Street. Safe practices will be adhered to for social distancing of performers and audience. More information on the number of performances based on enrollment will be provided on the first day of the Industry Intensive.

 

David Bagley

 

David K. Bagley is an active and internationally acclaimed dance artist, choreographer, educator, and entrepreneur who virtuosity bleeds into many dance forms. Throughout his career, he has performed with a panoply of reputable people and artists working alongside celebrities Sandra Bullock, Jerry Lewis, Taylor Kitsch, Michael B Jordan, Richard Dreyfus, Mitzi Gaynor, Cathy Rigby, Peter Berg, Pentatonix, Twenty One Pilots, billionaire business moguls David Dewhurst & George and Julia Argyros, and The Prince and Princess of Monaco. He has choreographed for and danced in productions by the likes of NBC, ABC, Disney, Audi, Industry Dance Awards, Celebrity Cruises, Holland America Cruise Line, and Dance Under the Stars Choreography Festival.

Henry Graham

 

Henry began dancing at the age of 4 when his foster mother who would later adopt him, recognized his talent in the performing arts. He went on to receive full scholarships to the prestigious dance programs of the Rock School of Dance Education, where he studied under the supervision of Bojan Spassoff and Christopher Fleming, and the School of American ballet, where he received training from New York City’s Peter Boal, Jack Soto, and Peter Martins. He attended the Ailey School on Fellowship, studying under the direction of Francisco Martinez.

Henry was one of only 25 dancers from the United States and Canada invited by Artistic Director and Julliard Faculty Member, Alexandra Wells, to participate in the Professional Project, a showcase of promising young talent from around the world. He is also an accomplished jazz dancer, appearing with Jonathan Lithgow in The Hollywood Bowl production of My Fair Lady. He performed with Debbie Allen in the musical Brothers of the Knight. Television credits include: VH1 Awards, NAACP Image Awards, NBC’s American dreams and Season 3 of So You Think You Can Dance Top 20. Film credits include: A Time for Dancing, choreographed by Marguerite Derricks.

Nile Russell

 

Nile is originally from Baltimore, MD. He received a B.A. in dance from Connecticut College, where he was fortunate enough to have the guidance of wonderful dancers and teachers such as Dan Wagoner, Lan Lan Wang, Jeff Rebudal, Robyne Watkin, David Dorfman, Eddie Taketa, and Jeremy Nelson. In 2002, Nile traveled to India to study temple and architecture studies and Bharatanatyam dance. He moved to New York in 2004, where he danced with Silver-Brown Dance, LeeSaar The Company, Luis Lara Malvacias, Stefanie Nelson Dance Group, Naganuma Dance, and co-founded CaN Dance. In 2009, Nile joined Pilobolus Dance Theater as a dancer and later became Dance Captain of the main touring company. Through Pilobolus, he has performed all over the world, taught nationwide and on three continents, and has been lucky to experience a wide range of people and cultures. Nile is very happy to be living in Denver and hopes to only add to the amazing dance and arts culture of Colorado.
