Heather René Liposky


 
 

Michigan native, Heather Liposky moved to New York City in 2013 after attending Oakland
University. As an educator/choreographer; Heather has been recognized on regional and national levels for
her works on stage. She is a Faculty member at Broadway Dance Center where she finds
gratitude being able to teach humans from all around the globe, has helped guide youth to their
optimal training ability through BDC’s Summer Junior Training Program (JTP), and annual youth
education for BDC’s Children and Teens Program (CTP). Heather was the Associate Choreographer to Ellenore Scott for the Global Goals Campaign’s Freedom - International Day Of The Girl, in works with Beyoncé Knowles, has been a lead adjudicator for Star Dance Alliance for 5 years, and most recently co-founded a new dance convention: Luminous Tour.

Activating self love, confidence, joy and knowledge is Heather's goal inside the classroom and feels lucky to do what she loves the most every single day with humans that share the same love for the magic of dance.

On the stage; Heather has performed at many different shows and venues including Madison Square Guardian (NYE PHISH), The Javits Center (Miley Cyrus opener), International Emmy Awards, APAP, Young Choreographers Festival and the Capezio ACE Awards (New York + LA, 2nd runner up). Heather is an original cast member of Freedom Riders: A New Musical,
Choreographed by Jon Rua, presented during the New York Music Festival.

Other honorable credits include: Burning Man- The Musical, New York Fashion Week, Jay Sean, Kid Rock, 3oh!3, Brooklyn X- Factor, Good Morning America, Sondre Lerche, and Nickelback.

Broadway Pre-Production credits include: Cats, West Side Story, Memphis, Little Shop of Horror, Aida, and Head Over Heels. Heather is the PA and Creative Consultant at Full Out Creative (FOC), founded by Kyle Beckley.
With FOC, Heather has been “wow’d” to work on Broadway League Legacy Projects and meet Broadway legends such as Jeffrey Seller (Hamilton), Nick Scandalios (On Your Feet), Al Nocciolino (Annie/Cats), and Barry Weissler (Grease, Chicago, Waitress) just to name a few.
