This series captures seasoned performing artists coming together to take ballet into a new realm of cinematic form. By playing with the shapes within classical technique the dancers create an innovative, out-of-the-box, and experimental approach to how viewers observe ballet. Henry Graham took the camera and shot more than just movement. He produced an explosion of lines, contours, and silhouettes that ebb and flow seamlessly on film. It’s a raw, candid approach to the art from that is both elevated, and yet, accessible to those searching for beauty.
