BIO

Henry began dancing at the age of 4 when his foster mother who would later adopt him, recognized his talent in the performing arts. He went on to receive full scholarships to the prestigious dance programs of The Rock School, where he studied under the supervision of Bojan Spassoff and Christopher Fleming, and the School of American Ballet, where he received training from New York City’s Peter Boal, Jack Soto, and Peter Martins. He attended The Ailey School on fellowship, studying under the direction of Francisco Martinez. Henry was one of only 25 dancers from the United States and Canada invited by Artistic Director and Julliard faculty member, Alexandra Wells, to participate in the Professional Project in 2005, a showcase of promising young talent from around the world. He is also an accomplished jazz dancer, appearing with Jonathan Lithgow in the Hollywood Bowl production of My Fair Lady. He performed with Ms Debby Allen in the musical Brothers of The Knight. Television credits include: VH1 Awards, NAACP Image Awards, and NBC’s American Dreams. Film Credits include: A Time For Dancing, choreographed by Marguerite Derricks. Henry is excited to be joining dance2b and  bring the world of stage and television performance as well as functional movement and muscular training to the clients in downtown Denver at d2b Studios.
